Recently, Cummins China Parts and Accessories Division held a National Six Technical Exchange Meeting and the National Six Parts Exhibition with China First Automobile Group Corporation Technology Center and FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd.
In this meeting, Cummins detailed the technical advantages and future product planning of the National Sixth Emissions Disposal System, turbocharger, fuel oil and filtration products, and exhibited the latest national six-emissions such as the Compact Box. Nearly 200 engineers and technicians of FAW visited the product structure and technical advantages of Cummins parts. So what understanding does Cummins have for the Sixth Technology?
(1) At present, the specific standards of China National Six are still in the formulation stage, but enterprises can make pre-planning and design of products according to the sixth stage standard of Europe. From the perspective of changes in European emission standards, changes in emission standards are gradual. From Euro 5 to Euro 6 standards, the most important change is the NOx emission limit. The NOx emission limit is reduced from 2g/kWh to 0.4g/kWh.
(2) Reviewing the upgrade of the past three national standards to the national four, it is the first revolutionary change, from the engine body to the installation of the SCR post-processing system; the national engine to the national five standard, the engine body does not need to change, but need to increase The amount of urea injected in the SCR system; and from the national five to the sixth, is another revolution in the engine and aftertreatment system, the engine body changes again, the need to introduce turbocharged and higher pressure common rail system, post-processing The system also adds a DPF (Particle Collector) to reduce the number of suspended particles.
(3) Basically, from the perspective of mainstream technology trends, the current post-processing system of the National Sixth adopts the DOC+DPF+SCR technology route, the temperature sensor is increased from one to five, and the NOx sensor is increased from one to two. Pressure sensors and suspended particle sensors have also been introduced.
