Delicate research and development of 3D printed polyurethane tires

On July 7, 2017, Linglong Tire obtained the latest research results, and it jointly developed a 3D printed polyurethane tire (specified by 165 70/R12) with Beijing University of Chemical Technology and completed the corresponding test.

It is understood that this is the first time in China that 3D printing has been used to prepare standard-size polyurethane tires.

This tire is a non-inflatable, regular hexagonal hollow structure. It uses thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material and completes 3D printing by melt deposition (FDM) to achieve integrated tire molding. The mold is not required during the manufacturing process.

Polyurethane material, with low heat, high wear resistance, tear resistance and other characteristics.

In previous studies, the technicians found that using this material to make polyurethane treads with phase separation structures has lower heat generation and rolling resistance than traditional rubber treads.

Delicate tires indicate that polyurethane is expected to be the main material for the next generation of green tires.

Quartz crucible Acrylic Weld BOPS heat shrinkable film Carbon fiber helmet are special material. Their grinding processing at present are manual, the force imposing on the Grinder is not consistent, most are based on technician experience or technique. Our Force Control System can flexible control the force imposing on the grinder, quick response to the surface changing, and instant adjusting the force on the grinder.
