Fault Analysis of Flameout or Inhomogeneous Speed ​​in Special Automobile Engines
(1 ) Check the spark plug of the ignition system. When the engine is idling, press the tip of a wooden handle or a screwdriver on the metal shell of the cylinder head or the engine itself, and contact the end of each spark plug with the metal part of the driver, such as the engine. Slowing down gradually means that the spark plug is working under normal conditions. If the engine speed does not change, the spark plug fails or the compression of the engine itself is not ideal. ——Check the state of the spark plug and if the spark plug in the combustion chamber has oily or carbon deposits.
(2 ) The high-voltage coil of the distributor has disadvantages - if the spark plug is in good condition and the engine is still extinguished, it may be caused by dents or ablation of the power-off point. Excessive dents indicate that the distributor has lost its effectiveness.
(3 ) Failure of the oil supply system
(4 ) valve valve or gap adjustment improper -
(a) Improper adjustment of the carburetor. When idling or at high speed, the engine does not slow down or rotates unevenly, and it tempers after a considerable period of operation.
(b) Gasoline is incompletely burned, the engine runs unevenly when it is idling, and it cannot rotate fast when it is accelerated. This difficulty is due to incomplete combustion. Gasoline that is not evaporating or incompletely combusts the lubricant that lubricates the cylinder wall and the crankshaft.
(If there is an abnormal noise generated at the engine, it is very likely that the piston is blocked and the operation is difficult. In the high-speed operation, an appropriate amount of cylinder oil can be injected from the intake manifold to wash off the oil.)
× piston ring and cylinder damage:
Start the engine and make it slightly higher than the idle speed, then listen on the breather. If there is a slight squeak, instruct the air pressure in the cylinder to penetrate into the crankcase. If there is greasy spark plug, it means the piston ring. Damage has occurred with the cylinder wall.
Maintenance method: If the damage is excessive, the cylinder should be honed again. (i.e. slightly increase the x/inch of a thousandth , and increase the size of the piston and piston ring with a suitable degree)
(5 ) Valve leakage: Valve leakage is also one of the causes of engine stall or uneven engine speed. To test whether the intake valve leaks? A handkerchief can be placed on the carburetor air intake, and if a gas blows back from the leaky intake valve, the handkerchief is blown open. Is the exhaust valve leaking? The exhaust pipe can be listened, and if there is a buzzing sound, it indicates that the exhaust valve has leaked.
Maintenance method: Re-smooth the exhaust valve valve so that the clearance is moderate
