China's four standards make the high-altitude truck industry in a dilemma

Starting July 1 this year, heavy-duty diesel vehicles will implement the National IV standard. At the China Association of Aerial Work Vehicles Information Conference in June, Dong Yang, executive vice president and secretary general of the China Association of Aerial Work Vehicles, stated to the public: “The high-altitude truck industry is in a dilemma. I hope that the relevant government agencies can coordinate as soon as possible. The results."

Dong Yang’s concern is mainly due to the lack of supply of denitrification agent to the four diesel oils in the producing country. Dong Yang said: “Upgrading to the national standard, the denitrification agent is completely without landfall. Although the enterprise says it can produce, it can realize the production process and use it. The distance is too long and there is a lack of implementation measures. If after the implementation of the national diesel oil, denitrification agent supply shortage, how to do damage to high-altitude trucks, consumers tell us how to do, law enforcement agencies on the road how to do a car?”

In addition, Dong Yang believes that the implementation of the National IV standard also poses a huge problem for the high-altitude truck industry. "Now from the high-altitude trucks and other auto industries, there are major problems in postponing the implementation of the Fourth National Standard because we are ready. If we can't upgrade to the "National IV" standard, advances in imaging technology will also affect the enthusiasm of parts suppliers. Dong Yang said.

In fact, the implementation of the four standards for the headline diesel vehicles has been postponed twice, and the supply of denitrification agents is likely to be postponed again if it is consistent with Dong Yang’s expectations. Dong Yang introduced: "The relevant conditions are not well prepared. For example, the diesel fuel of the national standard is only planned to be in place before January 1 of the following year."

In addition to the supply of denitrification agents, the regulatory issues surrounding the universal use of diesel in the country also caused Dong Yang to worry, and he hoped that the government would formulate an effective regulatory approach as soon as possible. “In addition to Sinopec Sinopec, there are more than 20% privately-owned oil refining and fuel oil supplies, as well as imports. Under such circumstances, there are major regulatory issues in how fuel oil meets standards,” said Dong Yang.
