Hualong Laxiaxia Nickel Ore Dressing Plant
I. Location: Located 2 kilometers southeast of Hualong County, Qinghai Province. Xining Yihuan Highway runs through the mining area. Lan Qing Ping south railway station 79 km. Northwest to Xining City 114 kilometers.
Second, the ore characteristics: the ore is unevenly impregnated with copper- nickel sulfide ore. The average nickel content is 2.60%, containing 0.58% copper. The nickel minerals in the ore are mainly purple sulfur nickel iron ore, followed by nickel pyrite and needle nickel. In the nickel-containing silicate minerals hornblende, feldspar, pyroxene, serpentine, chlorite followed. Copper minerals are dominated by chalcopyrite, followed by chalcopyrite and natural copper.
Most of the ore is dense block, angular flash and a small number of star-shaped, fine vein-like structures. Nickel minerals are embedded in gangue and other sulfides in a monomeric and solid solution state.
Also associated copper ore, cobalt, platinum, silver and other valuable metals.
The ore density is 2.9 ~ 3.24 tons / m3 , the loose density is 1.80 tons / m3 , the Platts hardness f = 7 ~ 12, the ore is weathered, the haircut is loose, easy to break and easy to grind, the degree of mud is very small.
3. History of the factory: The mine was built in 1976 and put into operation in April 1980. The plant was built in 1980 and put into operation in July 1982. The service life of the plant is 15-20 years. The design and construction of the plant was undertaken by Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Corporation. The scale of the plant selection technology: 60 tons/day in the near future and 100 tons/day in the long term.
IV. Production Overview: The Qinghai Provincial Reserve Committee approved the proven ore reserves in April 1964 with A+B+C grade of 272,000 tons, nickel content of 10186 tons, grade D ore volume of 114,000 tons, and nickel content of 5171 tons. The oxidized ore A+B+C grade ore volume is 68,000 tons, containing 1788 tons of nickel, D grade ore volume is 16,000 tons, nickel content is 317 tons, grade: Ni1.93%, Cu0.25%, Co0.019%. Sulfide ore: A+B+C grade ore volume is 204,000 tons, nickel content is 8398 tons, grade D ore volume is 98,000 tons, and nickel content is 4854 tons. Grade: Ni 5.07%, Cu: 0.46%, Co: 0.094%.
At the end of 1983, the reserves were held, the ore volume was 179,000 tons, the nickel grade was 2.9%, and the nickel content was 5,200 tons. Among them, the industrial reserves were 170,000 tons, the Ni grade was 2.4%, the nickel content was 4,000 tons, and the service life was 10 years. The product is nickel concentrate powder, which is sold to Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd.
V. Process flow: The process flow is two sections, one closed-circuit crushing, two-stage grinding, and mixed flotation. The process flow is shown in Figure 1.

The accumulated infrastructure investment of Hualong Laxia Water Mine Nickel Mine was 4.67 million yuan, and the accumulated change of funds was 1.42 million yuan. At the end of 1985, the original value of fixed assets was 4.57 million yuan and the net value was 3.43 million yuan. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China (to the end of 1985), the total profit and tax has reached 5,964,800 yuan.
The original value of fixed assets at the end of 1985 was 1.76 million yuan.
