Industry Association reform will have new breakthroughs

In order to better implement the “Several Opinions on Accelerating the Reform and Development of Trade Association Chambers of Commerce” (Document 36), on April 2nd, a seminar convened by the National Development and Reform Commission on the reform and development of trade association chambers of commerce was held in Beijing.

The issuance of documents is a new breakthrough in the management of industry associations and opens up new space for the development of industry associations.
Gu Jialu suggested that after the conference, the textual outline of the reform and development of the trade association chamber of commerce (or the implementation of Document 36) should be formed and jointly submitted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to the General Office of the State Council.
Representatives of dozens of associations such as China Federation of Commerce, China Coal Industry Association, China Federation of Machinery Industry, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, China Textile Industry Association, and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing attended the symposium to discuss the reform of chambers of commerce associations.
