New gear part diameter detection and calculation method
When measuring b and c values, the measured limit error D has a great influence on the random error Dlim(da) of the tip circle diameter. It is best to measure directly with a micrometer and should be measured several times (measured across the same number of teeth). The average value is substituted into the formula (4). This reduces the effects of errors such as measurement errors and uneven tooth distribution.
When measuring the b or c value, it is not necessary to count how many teeth are crossed, but the difference between the number of teeth across the two is counted. M should be made larger, which can increase the K value and reduce the calculation error. To measure the measuring surface of the gage on the intersection of the tooth profile surface and the crest cylindrical surface, instead of being stuck on the tooth surface or the crest cylindrical surface, this can be achieved by adjusting the number of cross-measuring teeth.
