Volvo minicomputer - small body, big hand
Volvo Construction Equipment will continue to develop various small-scale construction equipment and add some optional features to it while improving the backhoe loader. Volvo mini excavators and small wheel loaders will be unveiled at the International Civil Engineering and Construction Machinery Exhibition.
The new products exhibited this time include: EC35, EC45PRO and EC55B PRO mini excavators. All of Volvo's mini-excavators meet the 2006 European Machine Noise Directive (2000/14/CE). The Volvo EC25 and EC30 excavators produced less than 94 decibels, while the EC35 and EC45 models produced less than 96 decibels. In addition, due to the use of a new hydraulic motor to directly drive the crown wheel, the noise level in the cockpit is also significantly reduced.
Volvo has performed several performance updates on the larger EC55B PRO compact excavators, mainly Volvo STEP II, a 16-valve engine and a quieter exhaust system. The new model's lifting capacity is 15% higher than that of the old model, and the swing torque is increased by 10%. In order to further improve performance, the balance weight of the EC55B PRO is increased to enhance vehicle stability. Other new features include a more efficient hydraulic pump and an improved bias cylinder locking mechanism. The arm is welded and reinforced to prevent rubbing. The bulldozing cylinder has a metal shield.
High Performance Volvo Mini Excavators for Short Radius Turning Since Volvo introduced the ECR product family in 2004, this compact excavator with a short slewing radius has been popular with the market and now they have occupied Volvo CE. One third of the sales of small excavators. The ECR compact excavator series (including ECR28, ECR38, ECR58, and ECR88 models) is designed to work in tight spaces. They are extremely mobile, safer, and more suitable for more work.
Backhoe loader operation control system BL71 The backhoe loader can now be equipped with new excavator pilot control. The new excavator pilot control is located on a fully adjustable control lever that is easy to grasp and allows you to accurately operate all functions of the backhoe loader without any effort. The operator's forearm can be placed comfortably on the armrest. This can be done with the power of the wrist: simply press the thumbwheel on the joystick with your thumb to extend the arm. If the operator feels that the common ISO operating system on the excavator is better, an optional valve on the BL71 can switch the control system from standard mining mode (SAE) to the ISO operating platform. The selection valve can be reached on the ground and the operator can easily complete the conversion according to personal preference. Similarly, the operator can use the progressive control lever on the control panel to operate the electro-hydraulic stabilization arm. These operating devices have a "locking" function, thereby increasing the security of the system.
The excavator pilot control option complements the pilot-controlled standard loader joystick. The joystick is easy to grip and the operator can accurately operate all functions of the loader without any fuss: lift, tilt, return digging and float. Simply use your thumb to press the wheel switch on the joystick to start and stop the multifunction bucket. In addition, there are forward/reverse and off buttons on the joystick that can be used to speed up or slow down the engine revolutions. The BL71 is also equipped with a new loader attachment bracket. The operator can make full use of all attachments at the front of the equipment through the hydraulic control panel, thus eliminating the need for manual switching. All Volvo backhoe loaders now have a power range or power reciprocating gearbox to choose from.
Wheel loaders have stronger protection functions. By supplementing and strengthening the functions of small excavators, Volvo Construction Equipment has continued to grow with its market-leading small wheel loaders. Volvo has developed a protective tool kit to provide better protection of mechanical equipment during waste recycling operations. The protective kit can be mounted on L30B PRO, L35B PRO, L40B, and L45B wheel loaders, including anti-collision folding hood shields and to prevent gravel debris from damaging vehicle plumbing, transmission, and brake system components Bottom guard (installed at front and rear ends). Lifting cylinders can also be surrounded by protective covers. A protective cage made of leather and flat steel can be installed in front of the windshield to protect the glass and the operator while ensuring that the field of vision is not affected. This protective tool can be provided separately or as an optional installation. The user can choose according to specific needs.
