Yancheng mechanical transplanting technology made a major breakthrough
Rice cultivation mechanization technology, one of the recognized problems in agricultural mechanization, has made a major breakthrough in Yancheng. Its production efficiency is 50 times that of labor, and the cost is nearly 20%. The city has inserted 400,000 mu of rice this year, ranking the forefront in the province. Moreover, the machine inserted rice yields up to 750 kilograms per mu, which exceeded the artificial planting yield for the first time.
In the previous year, led by the Provincial Agricultural Machinery Bureau, South Korea's Toyo Property Co., Ltd. and the Ministry of Agriculture Shennong Development Center and Jianhu County jointly invested 100 million yuan to form the country's first high-performance rice transplanter production enterprise. Through technical research, low-cost and standardized machine plug-in has been realized, and high-performance rice transplanter models with stable performance, moderate price and high applicability have been screened out. Last year, several pilots showed that the average yield of rice transplanted by machine was 620 kg, and the highest yield was over 750 kg. It was warmly welcomed by the farmers and laid the foundation for the large-scale rice transplanting in this year.
