Industrial compressor room and compressor noise treatment

The compressor is a driven fluid machine that raises low pressure gas to high pressure. It is the heart of the refrigeration system. It sucks low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas from the suction pipe, drives the piston through the motor and compresses it, and then discharges high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas to the exhaust pipe to provide power for the refrigeration cycle. Compression → Condensation → Expansion → Evaporation ( endothermic ) refrigeration cycle. Compressors are widely used in the mining industry, metallurgical industry, machinery manufacturing industry, civil engineering, petrochemical industry, refrigeration and gas separation engineering, and defense industry. However, the noise of compressors also causes serious noise pollution due to its wide application.

Source of compressor noise:

1,           Air flow noise: Intake and exhaust passages, exhaust pipe, one-way valve flushing, fan, cylinder pressure pulsation.

2,           Mechanical noise: valve vibration, knock, cylinder, piston friction and impact sound, bearing, eccentric rotation, body, casing, pipe vibration sound.

3,           Electromagnetic noise: Electromagnetic sound of the motor.

 

For the treatment of compressor noise, an acoustic enclosure or a soundproof room can be installed on the whole machine. specific measure:

1. Control of Noise Source: Intake noise accounts for a large proportion of the overall noise of the compressor. Therefore, the addition of an intake muffler is the main means of controlling the overall noise. Since the intake noise of the air compressor is basically at a low frequency, the use of an expansion chamber and microplate composite muffler with an insertion tube can effectively solve this phenomenon.

2. Control of noise on the transmission route: The main methods include regional attenuation and airtight measures such as sound insulation rooms and acoustic enclosures.

3 , sound absorption and sound insulation: In the case of the original sound absorption is very small, the use of sound absorption structure or sound absorption material to improve the average indoor sound absorption coefficient method, can effectively reduce the indoor reverberation sound.
