Miriam to Japan to participate in smart device management working group

[China Instrument Network Conference Report] From Nov. 2nd to 4th, Wang Shuo, Engineer of the Institute of Technology and Economics of the Institute of Instrumental and Instrumentation of the Ministry of Industry came to Japan to participate in the IEC/SC65E/WG10 (Intelligent Equipment Management Working Group) meeting. The meeting discussed the contents of smart device management.

The main task of this meeting is to handle the opinions collected in the 65E/454/DC (Document for Comments) and discuss other work situations. The main content of this DC file is to convene experts to establish the IEC/SC65E/WG10 working group and the standard content of ISA-DTR108.1-2015 "Smart Device Management Part 1: Concepts and Terminology". The conference focused on the different phases and main activities included in the enterprise life cycle, product life cycle, and equipment life cycle involved in smart device management. It also combed the definitions and main contents of each stage and improved the corresponding parts of the draft standard.

It was also determined that IEC/SC65E/WG10 plans to establish smart device management as a series of standards. In addition to the concepts and terminology in Part 1, the standard content will also include: configuration of smart devices, device diagnostics, procedural work (inspection, functional testing, device replacement, etc.), and guidelines for implementing intelligent device management. It is tentatively scheduled to complete the preparation of the DTS (Draft Technical Specification) on April 26, 2016, and the first part of the standard NP (New Work Item Proposal) and DTS document will be issued on May 1, 2016. The next working group meeting is scheduled to be held in Galveston, USA from April 24-28, 2016.

Intelligent device management is an important part of smart manufacturing. Japan, the United States, Germany and other countries have carried out a lot of related research and standardization work, and China has always attached great importance to this work. The international standards for smart device management currently under development will become an important part of the Intelligent Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 international standard system. China’s dispatch of experts to participate in the working group is of great significance for the in-depth understanding of the latest technological research and standardization progress in smart device management, reflecting China’s needs in the process of formulating international standards, and providing more reference for the realization of “Made in China 2025”. .

Vertical Gas Oil Boiler
