A deep purification treatment technology for petrochemical industrial volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that has reached the international advanced level has recently been successfully developed by the Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Chemicals, and successfully passed the technical appraisal organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in Beijing. . The gas purified by applying this technology, benzene, toluene, xylene, acetaldehyde, non-methane total hydrocarbons, etc. is in line with China's "Integrated Emission Standard for Air Pollutants" (GB16297-1996), non-methane total hydrocarbon concentration is less than 30 mg/m3 , to achieve a deep purification of VOCs exhaust gas treatment.
This technology is aimed at the deep purification of VOCs exhaust gas. Based on technical innovations in the main aspects of process flow, supporting catalysts, and key equipment, the exhaust gas desulfurization and total hydrocarbon concentration homogenization of petrochemical wastewater treatment plants are developed for different VOCs exhaust gas. Oxidation, polyester waste gas absorption and homogenization of total hydrocarbon concentration - Catalytic oxidation, thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber production Tail gas condensation - Demisting - Catalytic oxidation, Propylene oxide/styrene (PO/SM) waste gas Dual catalytic oxidation and other four typical Petrochemical deep exhaust gas purification process. Using this technology, researchers also developed catalysts for the catalytic oxidation of waste gases from four typical VOCs, such as honeycombs WSH-1, HBFW-1, WSH-1F, and WSH-2, and reagents with dual functions of desulfurization and concentration homogenization. At the same time, based on this technology, a heat pipe with a high heat recovery rate, a wide range of applicable temperature, and a finned tube combined gas-gas heat exchanger and a large-scale square catalytic oxidation reactor have been developed.
The technology has applied for 50 patents (33 authorizations). The refinery wastewater treatment plant waste gas, PO/SM tail gas and rubber tail gas treatment technologies developed based on this technology have reached the international advanced level. Today, a total of 14 sets of exhaust gas, polyester exhaust, rubber exhaust, and PO/SM exhaust gas catalytic oxidation treatment equipment for refinery sewage treatment plants, and a total of more than 4.04 billion cubic meters of exhaust gas are treated with this treatment technology, and 125 million tons of emission-reducing VOCs pollutants have been eliminated. the above.
