According to Yuan Zhijun, deputy general manager of SAIC-GM-Wuling, according to SAIC-GM-Wuling’s 2 million-capacity production plan in 2015, SAIC-GM-Wuling Liuzhou base currently has an annual production capacity of 800,000 vehicles. After the completion of the second phase expansion of the Qingdao plant last year, The annual vehicle production capacity has increased to 500,000 vehicles. On November 18, SAIC-GM-Wuling Baojun Base was formally completed and put into production, adding 400,000 new annual production capacity, and the current production capacity was added to 1.3 million units.


For SAIC-GM-Wuling, which has been at the limit of production capacity in recent years, this third base officially settled in Chongqing will help SAIC-GM-Wuling to achieve a capacity of 2 million at the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”.
