Changan Automobile Group was officially informed that Changan Automobile will release a new brand strategy in Beijing on October 31, 2010, which mainly includes the name of the new sub-brand and the corresponding brand identity. It is understood that the future Chang'an will include two new sub-brands of commercial vehicles and passenger cars, respectively named "Sun" and "Veyron."
It is understood that the release of the new brand of Changan will be divided into two categories: passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The brand name of the passenger car is “Veyron†and the brand name of the commercial vehicle is “Sunâ€. In addition to the new brand logo, commercial vehicles are expected to use the current Chang'an LOGO, passenger cars or will use a new brand identity.
According to reports, Changan's mini-vehicle products and the planned light passenger and light truck projects will all be classified as the brand of the Sun Commercial Vehicle. The new car will also be named after the "Sun XX" model name.
