According to the data of China Automobile Association, in January, the production of automobiles was 1,299,400 units, a decrease of 23.20% from the previous month and a decrease of 27.47% from the same period of last year. The sales volume was 1.398 million units, down 17.75% from the previous month and down 26.39% from the same period last year.

In this regard, Dong Yang, vice president and secretary general of the China Automobile Association, said that since there are two festivals in January, the effective working day is only 17 days, 4 days less than the same period of the previous year. This is the main reason; The monthly production and sales of automobiles was about 1.8 million units in the highest month of the year, and the higher base in the same period was the second reason. From the data, passenger car and commercial vehicle production and sales both showed negative growth and year-on-year growth. According to the export data of automobile manufacturers by the China Automobile Association, the export of automobile enterprises in January was 56,300 units, an increase of 0.49% from the previous month and an increase of 8.32% year-on-year.
