China National Heavy Duty Truck Successfully Developed Driveshaft-Free Maintenance Universal Joints

The transmission shaft processing department of China National Heavy Duty Truck Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has successfully developed the maintenance-free universal joint recently, which has comprehensively improved the quality of heavy-duty gas transmission shafts.

For the application of maintenance-free universal joints, China National Heavy Duty Parts Manufacturing Technology Department did a lot of experiments in the technical quality room, including bench experiments after assembling the entire shaft, after injecting different amounts of 2# lithium grease, the universal joint assembly spans From the experiment and so on.

According to reports, the R&D personnel will firstly maintain the universal joint shaft hole and the shaft 2# lithium base grease inside the shaft bowl. After filling, the universal joint assembly and the connecting plate will be press-fitted. Finally, the entire shaft will be assembled in accordance with the test plan. Test; then the maintenance-free universal joint shaft hole, shaft 2# Lithium grease in the bowl, and measure the span of the joint assembly after being tightened with a vise; the maintenance-free universal joint assembly will not be # Lithium grease, measure the span of the joint assembly directly after tightening with a vise.

After repeated trials, technicians analyzed a large number of data records and solved factors such as unstable measurement data and unstable span dimensions. Actively contact the manufacturer of the joints to solve the problems during the test and ensure reasonable clearance and span after assembly. Efforts will be made to create a flexible, stable and strong joint for CNHTC's transmission shaft.
