China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. Signs Contract for Exporting 2000 Heavy Trucks to Ethiopia

China National Heavy Duty Truck Group’s contract to export 2,000 heavy trucks to Ethiopia was formally signed in Addis Ababa. This is the largest order for Sinotruk to export to the country so far. Mr. Sun Guoqiang, general manager of CNHTC's Ethiopian overseas representative, and Kebede Teshome, general manager of PBPPE, the Ethiopian Ministry of Engineering and Urban Construction, signed a contract with a total value of 1.2 billion Ethiopian equator (about 130 million US dollars). Minister of State Construction Casu, Minister of State Alcabe and Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Lin Lin attended the signing ceremony.

The 2,000 vehicles imported by Ethiopia from China National Heavy Duty Truck are HOWO heavy trucks. Including 1000 18t dump trucks and 1000 40t truck flatbed trailers. The first batch of 300 vehicles will be shipped to Hong Kong in mid-February this year and arrived in Ethiopia in March. China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and China Overseas Land Co., Ltd. attach great importance to after-sales service work. At present, a service system including personnel training, spare parts supply and maintenance has been initially established.
