According to Liu Weicheng, China's fluorocoating industry started late, but it has developed rapidly. At present, there are two major series of products. At present, there are more than 70 companies with production capacity of FEVE fluororesin coatings in China, and the annual production capacity of fluororesin coatings has reached nearly 20,000 tons in less than 5 years, and the total expansion is 2O times. In contrast, the domestic fluorine coating market is relatively slow. The annual sales volume is only about 2,000 tons. The fluorine coating production capacity has greatly exceeded the domestic market demand. At the same time, the development of FEVE fluorine resin coating market in China is chaotic. The homogeneity of products is serious and the market is fiercely competitive. Various manufacturers lack differentiated products to open up the market.
In view of the current status of domestic fluorine coatings, Liu Weicheng suggested that, first, companies should use some new monomers for copolymerization modification or find some new polymerization of fluorine-containing monomers to prepare new types of fluorine resin coatings, improve the performance of fluorine coatings and open up new applications, The use of material innovation to improve the industrial structure; Second, the product should be functional, differentiated, marginal development, in the existing fluorocarbon composite insulation board, aluminum powder special fluorine resin and fluorine resin for steel structure, fluorine resin for coiled material basis The development of architectural engineering, corrosion protection of steel structures, and metal surface decoration are particularly applicable to new products such as the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau where the temperature difference between day and night is large, the radiation intensity is high, the climate is dry and other harsh natural conditions; in addition, the thermoplastic vinylidene fluoride must be accelerated.
