The first thing to do is to find out the location where the fault occurs. If the meter is turned on, the simplest method is to use the sensor simulator to check. When checking, connect the four-wire signal of the sensor simulator to the pin number of the corresponding interface of the instrument and turn on the power. If the instrument works normally, the fault is in the body of the scale. If the instrument is not working properly, the fault is in the instrument.
1, the instrument part of the failure: the exclusion of instrument failure must be carried out by professional inspectors, users can use the method of replacing the PCB board, first make the system back to normal, damaged PCB board sent to the repair department or manufacturer for repair.
2, the body part of the failure:
Check the junction box wiring board for moisture, corrosion, device aging, potentiometer loose, false welding, poor wiring contact. Exclusion methods are mainly used to dry hair dryer, replace the wiring board, add desiccant and so on.
Check the cable for a short circuit or disconnection. Use a multimeter to remove after measurement.

3, sensor failure:
Use a digital multimeter to measure the resistance. The resistance between the sensor signal ±EX and ±SZ is 382±4Ω, and the resistance between the SI on the signal is 350±1Ω. If the measured data is not within this range, the sensor may need to be replaced.
Use a digital multimeter to measure the voltage. When the instrument is energized and the electronic scale is in the empty scale, the mV value between the ±200 mV measurement signal and the SI signal of the multimeter is between (2 and -3) mV. When the instrument is energized and the electronic scale is full scale, the mV value between the ± 200 mV measurement signal of the multimeter ± SI shall be less than 30 mV, otherwise the sensor may need to be replaced.
Use a digital multimeter to measure the insulation performance. Place the multimeter in the 20MΩ range. Connect one end of the meter to the shielded cable and connect the other end to ±EX, ±SE, ±SI, and the housing respectively. If “I†is displayed, the sensor insulation performance is good. . Otherwise, the sensor's dielectric strength is not up to the requirement, and the mV signal output by the sensor may be interfered by external electrical noise signals.
