Seed germination test
With the gradual implementation and implementation of quality education, education institutions such as preschools, university research institutes and so on have changed their requirements for students. Students’ practical skills are increasingly valued in the education process. As far as I know, there is such a lesson as the seed germination experiment in the science lesson plans for the fifth grade primary school. It is divided into two sessions. The purpose is to let students understand the conditions of seed germination and grasp the whole process of seed germination through experiments. At the same time, through the operation of the whole experiment, students' ability to design experiments, hands-on ability and active thinking and solving problems are cultivated. The ability, because will encounter a series of questions in the experiment process, all need the experimenter to think and solve by oneself.
The teaching goal of this experiment: Through the process of designing the seed germination experiment, observe and record the conditions affecting the germination of the seed by the method of comparative experiment, master the basic operation of the experiment, and cultivate students' interest in scientific experiments. And understand the series of conditions for seed germination.
The focus and difficulty in the teaching of this experiment: The key is to study and use the method of controlling a certain condition in the comparative experiment to study the conditions that affect seed germination. The difficulty is to design an experiment plan for a given task—the seed germination test.
The seed germination experiment was designed as follows: (preparation of mung bean seed, record sheet and plan sheet)

This is an improved experiment record sheet designed to make more reference to the experimenter's data to finally determine the conditions for seed germination. This also reflects the rigorous and repeatable nature of scientific experiments.
In the test process, we must pay attention to that: in each group of experiments, we can only use one experimental condition as an independent variable, only the experimental conditions can be changed, and other conditions are the same. For example, when considering the germination conditions affecting the seed moisture, the temperature of the experimental group and the control group, the external environment of the soil, etc. are all the same, leaving only the experimental group and the control group added different moisture. Then conduct a control record analysis. Finally came to the conclusion.
Through the records of the table, we can basically understand the conditions that affect seed germination, and calculate the seed germination rate for each experiment. Seed germination rate = amount of germinated seeds / total number of seeds. At the same time, through the experiment of the control group, students were given a basic grasp of the basic methods and steps of scientific experiments and formed a basic scientific thinking.
The result of this experiment is to prove that the effects of moisture, temperature, soil, sunlight and other factors on the germination of seeds, seed germination can only be healthy under certain conditions.
