Shaanxi launches energy-saving early warning management mechanism for the first time

Recently, the Shaanxi Provincial Energy Conservation Office issued energy-saving warning notices to nine cities (districts) including Xi'an, Longnan, and Yulin. The city’s (district) energy-saving supervision has been strengthened through one-off evaluations at the end of the past to provide dynamic management for the entire process. The city’s progress in advance warning of the target’s progress prompted that measures be taken to strengthen energy management and ensure that the “Eleventh Five-Year” energy-saving goal is fulfilled. It is reported that the province’s energy consumption in the first half of the year grew too fast, the energy consumption of industrial units increased from low to high, and the pressure for energy saving increased.
