In the second tender of State Grid, a total of 16.59 million electric meters were purchased, which is more than 30% of the total number of tenders for the first batch of projects in 2011. Compared with the second batch of projects in 2010, the total number of tenders increased by approximately 22%. In 2011, the first and second batch of electricity meter tenders amounted to about 28.99 million, according to the State Grid plan for 50 million tenders in 2011, has now completed 58%, in 2011 the actual amount of bidding is expected to exceed expectations.

A total of 14.25 million smart energy meters were tendered. From the standpoint of product splitting, there were 12.55 million single-phase smart energy meters of the 2S class, 1.47 million three-phase smart energy meters of the 1S class and 129,000 three-phase smart energy meters of the 0.5S class. , 0.2S class three-phase smart energy meter 969 only. In addition, there are 2.2 million single-phase ordinary electronic energy meters and 141,000 single-phase AC induction long-life energy meters of the 2S class.

There were 42 manufacturers winning the bid for the 2S grade single-phase smart meters, and the top four were Wasion Group (7.32%), Jiangsu Linyang (7.20%), Great Wall Development (000021) (6.26%), and Ke Lu. Electronic (002121) (6.09%), the first group status of the top 5-7 manufacturers in the industry has been basically established. The top 10 market share of the industry was 48.84%, and the first batch of comparable data in 2011 was 47.15%. It can be seen that the market competition pattern of single-phase watches has gradually stabilized.

Three-phase smart meters: In this tender, the 0.5S class and 0.2S class divisions with higher technical accuracy have decreased compared to the first batch in 2011. A total of 12 companies in the 1S class won the bid. The top three are Jiangsu Linyang (13.16%), Hangzhou Juhua (12.82%), and Wasion Group (10.15%). A total of 4 companies in the 0.5S class have won the bid, and the 0.2S class has all been won by the Wasion Group.

The completion of the bidding rules is expected to increase the gross profit margin of the meter industry. In order to ease the poor quality of the electricity meter and the slow delivery of the 2010 low-price winning bid, the 2011 State Grid meter centralized bidding is no longer based on the price-led model, but comprehensively considers the company's production capacity, quality and delivery. Due to factors such as punctuality and product prices, the level of gross profit margin of the meter industry manufacturers is expected to improve.
