The first hydropower station in Hulunbeier City successfully generates electricity in Zalantun City

The first hydroelectric power station in Hulunbeier City, Chaihe Town, Zhalantun City, was completed in September this year. The two units successfully generated electricity.

The waterworks (water conservancy) semi-annual work conference of Hulunbeier City in 2010 was held in Zalleng City in early September. The delegates visited the hydropower station, fully affirmed the overall layout and structural design of the station's hub, and installed hydropower and civil engineering. Construction expresses full recognition and high praise.

It is understood that the Habu Gas Station is located in the Chaihe Scenic Area near the Habu River in the town of Chaihe, Zhalantun City. The project aims to solve the problems of the state-owned Muir River Farm and local electricity consumption. The total installed capacity of the hydropower station is 475KW, and the three units generate an annual output of 2.75 million kW•H. The average annual power generation period lasts for seven months.

Zalantun City has been listed by the state as the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" for electrification of rural electrification in the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period. It not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also has superior geographical conditions and rich hydropower resources. It has the advantage of developing seasonal small hydropower; in recent years, the city of Zara Grasping opportunities to actively strive for the development of small hydropower projects.

The successful construction of the Habha Gas Power Station has provided valuable experience for the future planning and construction of small hydropower projects in Zalatun City and even Hulunbeier City, as well as for the local ecological construction, protection of the original forests, strengthening of environmental protection, and the settlement of electricity and fuel for the region.
