Third Generation Nuclear Power Plant Nuclear Pumps Realize Localization

The AP1000 nuclear power plant is currently the safest and most advanced commercial nuclear power technology in the global nuclear power market. It is designed and developed by the Westinghouse Electric Corporation of the United States. In order to minimize the leakage point, there are only two nuclear-grade pumps in such a nuclear power plant. According to reports, the normal residual heat removal pump is an important equipment for the nuclear island's normal residual heat removal system and is responsible for discharging the heat of the reactor coolant system during the normal shutdown of the power plant. The AP1000 nuclear power plant has extremely high requirements on the seismic level and technical reliability of the pump. At present, the four domestic AP1000 nuclear power plant units under construction are all imported from abroad. The innovation of the Dalian Deep Blue pump industry will break this situation. Experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering believe that the prototype of AP1000 nuclear island normal residual heat pump prototype completed by Dalian Deep Blue Pump has a reasonable design and has completed harsh conditions tests to meet the requirements of nuclear power plants.
