What parts of car body can not be blocked

There are small holes in many parts of the car, which can cause malfunctions when the holes are blocked. So what holes can't be blocked?

Pump Spill Hole Once the pump hole is blocked, leaking water will enter the water pump bearing and damage the lubrication environment, causing premature wear of the bearing and the pump shaft.

Oil pump drain hole Some oil pump casings have drain holes. If the leaked oil hole is blocked, the diesel oil leaked by the pump will not be able to exit the pump but will be pumped from the piston of the pump to the bottom shell of the fuel pump. Lubricating oil is diluted and deteriorated, which results in poor lubrication in the oil pump.

When the battery vent is charged, the electrolyte in the battery reacts to produce a large amount of gas. These gases will be discharged from the vent hole. If the vent hole is blocked, the generated gas will accumulate too much and the pressure in the battery will increase. In severe cases, battery explosions will occur.

Injector Spill Hole The diesel fuel injector has a return pipe that allows excess diesel that has not been injected into the cylinder to return to the tank. Some owners think that if the return pipe is plugged, the amount of oil in the cylinder can be increased, thus making the engine more "strong". In addition, some vehicle owners have been unable to repair them because of damage to the return pipes. To prevent diesel spills, artificially blocking oil spill holes is a mistake.

Fuel injection pump respirator Some engines have a respirator on the fuel injection pump. Its role is to ensure that the heat generated in the lubricant chamber and the gas can be emitted in time when the injector is in operation to prevent intrusion of external dirty air and impurities. After the fuel pump respirator is damaged, some owners do not repair it but directly plug the small holes in the area, which leads to poor lubrication.
