The transformation and development have expanded the stage for Zhong Yan and the steps to advance into the chemical industry are even bigger and faster. The construction of Zhongshui Hefei Chemical Base with a total investment of 11.4 billion yuan has officially commenced. Hefei has thus become one of the three major salt chemical production bases invested and built by Zhongyan in the country. Zhu Feng, chairman of Zhongshui Anhui Hong Sifang Co., Ltd., said that the chemical base of Zhongshou Hefei Chemical Industry Group will develop chemical industrial clusters based on the concept of integration and will form a diversified industrial base with salinization, agrochemical, and fine chemical industries as the main body. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2012. The planned implementation of the park is expected to be completed by the end of 2014. The total annual profit will exceed 1.7 billion yuan, becoming the salt industry. It is an important coal chemical, salt chemical, fine chemical and chemical fertilizer production base in East China.

In the next three years, Zhongyan will focus on the development of inorganic salt and salt chemical industry, further improve the industrial distribution of basic salt chemical products and form regional advantages, and turn Zhongyan into the largest inorganic salt chemical company with the largest profitability and leading technology in China. The company has formed a strong market control capability in the products such as Yuan Mingfen and Sulfur Sulphide, and it has achieved the goal of leading domestic salt companies. From 2015 to 2019, we will maintain our leading advantages in basic salt chemical products, and rely on this advantage to actively develop new chemical materials, fine chemicals, and specialty chemicals in the downstream, and realize the transition from basic materials to specialty chemicals, and become a world-class salt.
