Discussion: Use management of piling machinery

The foundation for piling is a basic form widely used and rapidly developed in construction projects, especially in the southeast coastal areas of China. Piling machinery is the main equipment for the construction of pile foundations. It has been a long time since the use of management is not standardized, and equipment safety accidents have occurred from time to time. In 2002, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Construction issued a document requiring the use of technical management of piling machinery. In the course of this work, after field investigation and practical operation, some explorations have been conducted on the use and management of piling machinery.

1. Status Quo of Machinery 1) Types and Variety of Types The coastal areas of Zhejiang Province are typical soft soil foundations, while the western part of Zhejiang Province is dominated by mountainous regions. Therefore, the design of pile foundations has various regional forms. For example, static pressure extraction method is often used in Ningbo, and bearing capacity is used as an indicator for the construction of immersed pipe piles, while in Wenzhou and northern Zhejiang, vibration piles are used for friction piles. In rural areas, building houses are more often stirred or artificially excavated. Soil piles. In addition, pile driving forms such as hammering, static pressure, and drilling are also widely used in industrial and civil construction projects. Therefore, the piling machinery has various types and specifications.

2) The quality of design and manufacturing varies According to the statistics of the construction site, except for the engineering drilling rig, only less than 10% of the piling machinery has been professionally designed and manufactured. Others are generally counterfeit and patchwork equipment. Rough processing, arbitrarily changing equipment specifications, and imperfect electrical protection are all common problems.

3) Product Standards Need to be Improved In recent years, the type specifications of mainstream products for piling machinery have changed a lot, but product standards have not been updated accordingly. In addition to the industry standard JG/T5017-1999 "Hydraulic Pile Driver", which is applicable to all-hydrostatic static pile drivers, the winch pile driver has no corresponding industry product standards to give specifications.

4) Inconsistent use of management For the piling machinery, the government does not have mandatory supervision requirements. It is difficult for the relevant departments to conduct relatively effective management of the pile driver production units and users.

2. Usage and management of piling machinery For the status quo of the use and management of piling machinery in Zhejiang, in 2002, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Construction issued a document requesting to strengthen the management of the use of piling machinery, and awarded the Zhejiang Provincial Academy of Construction as the main undertaking unit for this work. With the help of the Provincial Construction Technology Promotion Center, according to the characteristics and status quo of the pile driving machinery, a set of management methods for the combination of pile driver test, large-scale mechanical inspection and rating, and the abbreviation “pile machinery evaluation management” were proposed and tested. The operation received initial results.

3. Technical requirements for good piling machinery In the technical requirements, the project related to the safe use of pile drivers is listed as a key project, and the criteria for discarding the waste shall be clearly defined. In order to ensure the stability of the tower-shaped A-piles, the data sets of column cross-section and column length under various conditions of column stability are calculated, and the machine height and the pile machine weight and grounding dimensions meet the requirements of the entire machine. The data set under overturning stability requirements is available for on-site inspection. In addition, in order to phase out pile drivers with poor technical conditions, the grading standards for pile drivers have been formulated on the basis of the year of pile extinguishment, the quality of stress structure, maintenance and repair conditions, and the rationality of design.
