Release "Traffic News" to facilitate citizens to view real-time traffic information

On November 29th, the Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Commission, China Mobile Guangdong Corporation, and Guangdong Inter-vehicle Information Technology Services Co., Ltd. initiated a tripartite cooperation and issued traffic information service applications such as “Traffic News” in the Shenzhen Communications Commission.

According to the person in charge of the Communications Commission, “Traffic News” can provide information services including real-time traffic information services, long-distance passenger car ticketing services, real-time traffic conditions, and other information services to the general public and car owners. Users can view real-time information at any time through mobile WAP or clients. Traffic conditions, inquiries to travel routes, but also inquiries related to the site, route flow, reasonable arrangements for travel time.

It is understood that this tripartite cooperation is centered on serving people and owners of public transport in Shenzhen, providing the public with a variety of travel modes, a variety of multi-channel releases, real-time and effective Shenzhen traffic information and traffic travel services. Use rich information services to improve the efficiency of Shenzhen's public transport operations, ease traffic pressures, and improve the quality of transportation services.

It is reported that at present, the total number of motor vehicles on roads in Shenzhen exceeds 2.3 million, ranking among the top cities in the country. With the rapid growth of motor vehicle ownership, traffic jams, traffic environment, traffic safety, and parking lot shortages have become increasingly prominent. Urban transport in Shenzhen is facing tremendous pressure and people will encounter unprecedented difficulties in traveling.
